Learning Objectives for presentation by Diana Faugno, MSN, RN, CPN, SANE-A, SANE-P, FAAFS

1. To identify what a SANE does and identify the interactions that SANE's have with social workers and mental health professionals.
2. To compare and contrast the various medical findings that are often confused with sexual abuse so that the social workers/mental health professionals can correctly identify proper treatment options.
3. To identify problems that social workers face in dealing with medical professionals and discuss possible solutions.
